What is light worth? This object is a response to creating a renewable energy product. With the presence of planned obsolescence plus the inevitable depletion of resources, I created self illuminating coasters that are resilient, durable and pollution free.

This installation was a response to fast food chains disposing billions of plastic straws in the ocean every month, globally. Keeping things ironic, the type installation was created using over 1500 plastic straws.

Our response led to exploring parallels between the energy of the brand through Capoeira.
